BLOT or the Basic Love of Things,a multidisciplinary, multiple artist project spanning electronic music, digital art, interaction technology and design, curates past works and bespoke installations at Palette - amplifying the Power of Design.

Jewellery Design

Hanut, a contemporary jewellery designer, fuses traditional Indian and European design.Working with 18 karat gold, and an assortment of exciting precious and semi-precious stones, Hanut showcases his jewellery.

VIYA HOME

Viya Home presents its Spring 2012 collection of contemporary luxurious products for high-end interiors including furniture, decorative and functional sculptures, hardware and lighting.Viya Home is committed to contemporary Indian design,exquisite craftsmanship, the preservation of generations old skills, and the belief that beautifully made objects speak to a higher level of awareness, appreciation and compassion.

LE VILLAGE

India is a country of much juxtaposition. With a melange of so many different facets, it’soften hard to create an image that is “typically” Indian. But amongest the beautiful chaos of her myriad colours, and dichotomous rural and urban identities, four labels White Champa,Two Feet, Kora & En Inde come together under one roof, to attempt interpretations of contemporary India with a commonality based on heritage.

Presents a preview of artist Jagannath Panda’s muraltitled “Meeting the History”, commissioned for the new lobby of the Hindustan Times building-the largest work of his career.

KLOVE STUDIOS

Prateek and Gautam of Klove Studios make apresentation of their work, presenting the process of blowing glass and creating amazing products.

STAINLESS GALLERY

Exhibition showcasing the process of the creation of Project:(p)ROTO-type, a unique 3 year project which aims to scan the space of contemporary Indian design practices to detect what excites our senses, defines and creates products for our homes and work space.

SHIVAN & NARRESH

Shivan & Narresh, India’s first luxury beach wear brand, showcases their made-to-measure, customized and uniquely stitch-free line on this boutique visit.

INFONAUTS

Cognitive Art is presented at the Infonauts building/studio, displaying data visualization projects, which deal with the interpretation of messages.

SICIS SHOWROOM

Presentation by SICIS, the revolutionary Italian mosaic which is making its way into Indian designer homes. The MD presented a session on history of mosaic and how it has been integrated into Indian designer homes.

PLAY CLAN

Play Clan interpreted the iconic traditions in its colorful signature style in the theme titled ‘Japani by Play Clan’, highlighting the folkloric nuances and celebrating the 60th year of diplomatic relations between Japan and India. Play Clan is proud to feature note worthy Japanese designers. Products by e.m., giraffe,Tropopause and HIROCOLEDGE four prominent Japanese designers were show case data Play Clan stores in New Delhi.

Contemporary Art Space EXHIBIT 320 & Mumbai based boutique concept store BOMBAY ELECTRIC collaborates in SPOTLIGHT, a design in art project.

VARYA

Varya show cased an eclectic collection of sophisticated,contemporary designed furniture & home accentsedited with a unique personal touch by Bindu Vadera. ‘Avant Garde’ artist, Gautam Dhawan’s collection featuresd tables,planters,mirrors and lights made in brass, copper, mirror and marble.The ‘Design By Three’ studio revived the traditional techniques of Koftgari & Damascus on mild steel & brass, translating them into home products. These collections were specially designed for the event.

K2INDIA

‘Design Experience: The Style Vocabulary of K2India’,by Sunita Kohli and Kohelika Kohli.

The K2India design concept spaces show case an integrated experience of sensual luxury and cutting-edge living technologies – interior architecture, design, furniture , lighting and audio-visual systems, art and video installations.

EVOLUZIONE STORE

Manish Arora retrospective at Evoluzione, a multi-brand designer apparel store associated with the biggest names in Indian fashion.

URBANIST

Puru Das and Brian De Muro of Urbanist hosted acocktail for Interior Decorators, Architects and other professionals involved in Interior Design.The event consisted of 5 minute introductions by people operating in the Interiors space,followed by informal discussions.
